Iron Frontier

Iron Frontier is a slower, more thoughtful strategy game about carving out territory on a hostile map. You lay down supply lines, defend chokepoints, and slowly expand while managing three competing resources. It rewards patience over speed.

The AI opponents play a real economic game, so you can't just turtle up and win. We lost our first couple of maps badly, then learned to scout early and cut off enemy routes. That moment when a plan comes together is fantastic.

It runs well even on older phones, and matches can be paused and resumed without losing your head. If you like strategy that makes you think rather than tap fast, this is an easy recommend.
